Burhuc Scanner authorized use

The Burhuc Privacy and Consent Scanner may be used only for websites and domains you own, administer, or are explicitly authorized to assess. The authorization confirmation is recorded with the scan request for audit and abuse-prevention purposes.

Scanner activity is limited to passive page loads and consent-banner interactions for privacy, cookie, tracking, and consent analysis. It does not submit forms, attempt logins, make purchases, fuzz inputs, or bypass access controls.

Scanner reports, manual fix guidance, and AI-assisted fix generation are technical remediation aids. They are informational only and do not constitute legal advice, a legal opinion, or a compliance certification.

Selecting Generate AI fix sends redacted finding evidence to Anthropic's commercial Claude API. The result is visibly identified as AI-generated, carries provenance metadata, and must be reviewed by a person before it is applied. Additional details are provided in the Privacy policy.

Burhuc may rate-limit, block, expire, or delete scans that appear abusive, unauthorized, unsafe, misleading, or inconsistent with these terms.
